| - I have to say I am not the fan that I had thought that I would be, but I have to say it was just good in my book.
They offer hot dogs, a few variations of fries (regular, poutine, and I believe some other kind that I cannot remember- I could be mistaken though), Ramen (yes, you read that right), and Tacos (and yes, you read that right as well). They also have Smart Water and Mexican Coke so that made us very, very happy.
The hot dogs were good... they have a nice selection. Not too few or not too many, just right. We had a few of these and for me, they were the high point of the menu. We also got a few of the tacos. Being that I was a lover of the Brussel Sprout taco that Yo Rita once had, when I saw the Duck Confit taco (sans Duck it would have to be for me) that had a lot of the faves of that special and amazing taco from Yo Rita, I had to try it. When I asked the girl working if I could get it without the duck, she looked at me like I had three heads and said he probably would not do that. He was right behind her so she asked. He too looked at me like I had three heads. All I wanted was the brussel sprouts. I was not asking them to somehow bring the duck that had died to make that taco back to life. Eventually they got it and made it. It was just okay. Nothing special and not as tasty as I dreamed.
In a nutshell, I was just not blown away at all. Maybe I have to go back, but with Yo Rita maintaining my taco love, and D's Packs and Dogs holding my hot dog love, it will probably have to be quite awhile. Worth checking out though if you are in the neighborhood and want to try something different.
