  • Service was great - the restaurant staff were accommodating and the front desk staff were lovely. The rooms are decent, newish but slightly dated from a style perspective. Bathrooms are lush with heated floors and all marble. 3 stars for the rooms smelling like smoke though. I changed rooms once but when the second room smelled like smoke I decided to give up. Might be an air circulation thing or maybe I just had bad luck. The bed was also possibly the hardest bed I have ever had to sleep in. I woke with a sore body and so did my 7 year old son who never complains about a thing. Switched to the Thompson the next day and much happier with my choice.
