Purchased a new 2014 model Subaru just as the 2015 models started to come out. No breaks in price whatsoever, but at least they had 0% financing. The personnel kept pushing extended warranty, and the sales manager called me the following day to suggest I come back and sign a new finance agreement with the warranty added to it; after I still declined, he warned me that the electronics in the vehicle are likely to fail and I will regret not getting the extra warranty when that happens. The salesman promised a "nice thank you gift in the mail" but actually sent nothing. The vehicle was poorly prepared for delivery. I had to ask to get the tank filled before driving off the lot. There were pieces of protective tape still in the interior, and adhesive from shipping on the doors, roof, and wheels. After about a month I found out that the dealer had calculated the sales tax at an incorrect rate, and the state had rejected the application for vehicle registration because of this.
Poor attention to detail, empty promises, not customer-oriented.
