  • Beware! This UPS store overcharges! I had called UPS earlier for a price quote ($90-95 give and take) and when I went to the store, the man gave me a quote that was double the original phone quote. The man was really liberal in his measurement of my parcel (way overestimating the dimensions of the item). I had to reason with him about his measuring methods and he remeasured and readjusted the price quote. 1st quote: 'it is going to be over $200' 2nd quote: 'it is going to be about $150' 3rd quote: 'it is going to be $110' Lesson: Do your research beforehand - call and get an estimate. Tape down and compress all your packages to make it as small as possible.
