| - This location is typical TJ's. Ultra fresh, extremely attractive, hard-to-find produce, lots of tasty pre-made dishes in the freezer section to make meal prep super convenient, and quick, efficient cashiers. You definitely pay for the privilege, but when you are buying fresh, pre-chopped kale and fresh, roots-still-on watercress instead of a crummy, old head of iceberg lettuce, you have to expect to pay the going rate. You will leave happy.
I recommend Trader Joe's around Thanksgiving and Christmas. They have bakers' chocolate, panetone (Italian special-occasion semi-sweet cake), and all kinds of European desserts in addition to the normal American pies and candies. Also check out the coffee and tea section.
