| - I came here on Wednesday hoping to squeeze in a quick oil change. They couldn't accommodate me, so I decided to make an appointment for the next day. I was quoted a turnaround time of 45 minutes to an hour, which was reasonable for this type of service.
My appointment was today at 1 pm, so I get there and drop the car off. I'm on my lunch and walk across the street to the McDonalds to grab something to eat, hoping my car will be done or at least close to complete by the time I'm back. Nope. By the time I'm back, my car is still in the same spot and hasn't been touched in over 30 minutes. I understand that shops get busy, but what's the point of an appointment if my car is just going to sit there? If you book an appointment, honor the appointment.
Ultimately, my car was finished in an hour and a half (30-45 minutes longer than quoted). If you quote a turnaround time, you need to deliver. This isn't a rocket science car service that may get delayed due to newly discovered issues. It's an oil change. Thankfully I can take long lunches without concern, but I shouldn't have needed to in the first place.
On the bright side, the employees were nice and the price was competitive.
