It's a Goodwill people. You have to take the good with the bad.
This location is mostly a big jumble of randomness with some very colourful and interesting patrons milling about shopping. But if you pack some patience and an open mind you might just find a diamond in the rough.
I visited most recently on a mission to find a vintage ski suit for a beer festival (there was a competition plus I love any excuse to dress up, natch). The thrift gods were smiling down on me and after a bit of digging, I found an amazing 90's metallic bronze ski suit in pristine condition. With killer embroidery on the back and a built-in belt to cinch the waist, I thought it was a steal for only $25!! WOOP!
To my surprise, they took 50% off the price at the cash as it was a sale day. What?? YAY! I was actually very happy about this and thanked the cashier who looked like she could not have cared less. Oh well, it can't always rain sunshine and puppies for everyone.
Thanks Goodwill, I saved a few bucks and didn't freeze my buns off while drinking outside for 5 hours straight.
PS: This location always seems to have a great selection of used books, if you like looking at words.
