  • I can't think of a better place for martial arts than Glendale Taekwondo Academy. The focus of this studio is 100% on the growth of its students (youth, adults and everyone in between) and of its instructors. They have a tremendous 15 step black belt program that helps each student grow as a martial artist and as a person. All of the staff/instructors know each students name and exude the tenets of Tiger-Rock Taekwondo - Honor, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, courage, community strength, humility, and knowledge. As part of that, Glendale Taekwondo has given back to student's school teachers and has an incredible Board Break-A-Thon that helps raise money for the Phoenix Children's hospital. It's been about 1 1/2 years and my son is well on his way to his black belt and is really passionate about Taekwondo thanks to everyone at Glendale Taekwondo Academy. if you're looking for a great place for yourself or your children to grow as a person as well as learn Taekwondo and make friends, I would recommend this location for you.
