| - Have been here a couple of times. Once for teppanyaki dinner, and another time at like 1am, at a regular table. I prefer the teppanyaki experience. The first time I was here, we were lucky enough to have the owner as our chef. I remember seeing him on the Travel Channel. He's a very friendly and funny guy. He will tell plenty of dirty jokes, if the crowd is right. The food was very good, and the sauces for the meat/veggies were great! I had the steak, chicken and shrimp dinner. After the rest of our table left, the owner talked to us for a while. Since I was planning to move to Vegas, he was giving me some advice. A very cool guy, and I have no problem supporting his restaurants.
The second time I was here, it was very late, and I was drunk, so the experience was very different. There was only one teppanyaki table available that late, and it was full. We sat at a regular table and ordered off of the regular menu. I honestly don't remember what I ordered, but I remember it taking a bit of time. There were more customers than I thought there would be at 1am, so service was a bit slow. The server lady was on the odd side, but very funny. She did apologize for the slow service. I didn't hold it against her, since she was the only person taking care of the tables. I have no problem recommending this place, and I'll return for sure.
