| - I went here 2 weeks ago. It was the first time in a long time that I had gone somewhere to get a pedicure, so I decided to treat myself and get the spa pedicure that included callus remover, sugar scrub, longer massage, hot stone massage, hot towels. I so regret that!
The woman that was doing my pedicure was nice enough, but I did not get the longer massage. Also, I am not sure if this is how it is usually done, but she applied the hot towels on my legs after doing the sugar scrub and it BURNED! I think it was because my skin was sensitive after the scrub, so that is why I question why it was done in that order. Of course, she apologized and was very sincere, but the pain was the same.
I then got a gel manicure and while she was cutting my cuticles, she cut into my skin on 2 occasions. Usually I have a high tolerance for pain, but I mean should that very phrase be used to describe your experience getting a spa pedicure and manicure? I'm guessing no.
I do want to say that the color was great and she did an awesome job with the design, as well. I have no complaints about that.
One thing that is inconvenient as a customer at this particular place is that they will take your payment from a debit or credit card, but they will not apply the tip on the card. You must provide the tip in cash. I understand that this is more convenient to them, but as a person who never carries cash and as a first time customer here, it is not convenient. If I were to want another pedicure this alone would dissuade me from coming here if I did not have the cash.
