| - Our stay last weekend was just fine. We got an upgrade to a room on a higher floor, the bed was great, the pillows were comfy, and, despite who we recognized to be noisy neighbors, were unheard of all night. GREAT!
I reserved pool chairs through their company loungereserve.com to prevent the stress that comes along with forcing yourself to wake up early to get a coveted seat by the pool. When we went to claim our reservation our first day there, we were seated right by the DJ booth and were told that the DJ would be starting at 12p. Holy hell! Being seating by the DJ booth was not something I agreed to when I reserved my seats! But, this is where the $20 seat reservation area is. It seems like they should tell you this before you book. So, I immediately went to cancel my reservation for the next day and was told I had to do it through the website where I booked it -- loungereserve.com. I did this as soon as it was possible and explained the situation, noting that it would take 24 hours for someone to get back to me. Fast forward 1 follow up email and 7 DAYS LATER -- they finally responded saying cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance. That was it. So, I wrote back and explained the situation AGAIN and they said that it was the resorts policy and there was nothing they could do. So, Monte Carlo pool staff threw me to them and loungereserve.com threw me back to Monte Carlo. What the hell?? Haven't heard anything back from them since responding that there had to be something they could do.
Next step is to contact Monte Carlo directly and pray.
I won't be staying here again and I will never use loungereserve.com again either. I HIGHLY recommend that you stay away from this money grubbing site and just get to the pool when it opens to snag your seats.
