  • Quick comment: Severely over priced, decent knowledge, low level of morality and honesty. Quick tip: always inspect the goods, I made a rookie mistake. I have not had a smoke in a long while and was looking to try something new. I live in the area and found this shop. The gentleman greeted me politely and I told him what cigar I last smoked years ago. He lead me to the humidor and recommended something similar in character and taste. I appreciated his recommendation and ended up buying 2 to try, plus 1 other different cigar to gift as I knew my friend enjoys it. I asked how much, and was blown away by the price. Being that I was in a rush to a dinner party and needed these cigars immediately I decided to pay the price of procrastination. I must say that I did not inspect the single cigar as it was a regular cigar that my friend smoked. After dinner we went to toast our sticks. Turns out the single torpedo I got for my friend was already dry and had light damage to the foot. Very disappointed in myself for not inspecting it before purchase. The shopkeeper should have not sold me a damaged or dry cigar. On the other hand, The recommended cigars were excellent as they matched my taste. I looked them up for average price and realized I had been severely overcharged. Disappointed in myself for not doing my homework before hand. Though I do appreciate the correctly selected recommendation, I do not appreciate the price gouging and dishonesty. I will not spend another dime there nor would I recommend this shop to anyone.
