Okay, I spend alot of time traveling so have had the opportunity to experience internet providers all over the country and in other parts of the world. Can I just say that CenturyLink's reliability is similar to what I experienced in Nairobi. Really??? I'm newly relocated to Las Vegas and assumed that an actual city in the U.S. would have stellar services as many of the other cities in the U.S. do... Nope. We signed up for the most expensive, fastest package because much of my work is via internet and I need it to be reliable and fast. When we started experiencing regular drops in speed and even disconnection for several days in a row, I called customer service. I was informed it was a known issue. The area is oversold and cannot support the traffic. There is no projected date of correction. Um, so let me get this straight. You know the area is too busy for the service that you have and yet you continue to sell in that area. Hmmm.. is that legal?? Apparently, it is and according to CenturyLink it is good business practice as well. I will be changing my service tomorrow. Thanks CenturyLink for being a fine example of greed and poor business ethics.
