  • p.k.a. Wilburn Auto Body & Glass Normally, I don't even write bad reviews, but I think this place is worth the effort. (And I hope to inform others since this is a semi-big decision.) I got into a silly accident in my work parking garage. Once I set up the claim through my insurance carrier, they recommended a few body shops. Because my policy did not include towing, my adjuster recommended using the body shop's tow service because it would be included in the final bill. Doing so, I waited for the tow service and was able to determine from online reviews that I should change the franchise location to the one on Albemarle Road. Honestly, the wait for the tow service was the worst part, which was expected because they were able to give me an estimated time frame. Once my car was towed there, Linda, Sarah, and Casey were able to give me status updates everyday. I would say they were actually much more informative than my insurance adjuster. I also got the opportunity to receive text message updates. (Some were just standard pieces that were automated, but some were actual updates on which part of the car they were fixing that day - or have just been completed.) Being a control freak, I called them every day for an update via conversation and also to remind them that I had a 30-day max on my rental under the claim. They were able to deliver the final product on the 3rd week, and that's after a one week delay from my insurance to determine if it qualified as a total loss. A few other things.... (1) They have an Enterprise facility in the location, so it makes it easy to return your rental when you pick your car up after repairs are complete. (2) They have a lifetime warranty on their repairs. I actually noticed some road noise on my wheel and brought it in at my convenience (they even stayed a half hour late, because I was late to the time that I told them). The mechanic identified a few things it could be and tested every, single one out. They fixed it same day, and told me that if they couldn't, they would let me know time frame to be a same-day fix if I needed to come back. All in all, it was a great experience. I never want to go back for obvious reasons, but they are my first choice in repairs if I ever need to.
