  • I wish I could give them zero stars. A friend referred me here to see Dr. Harari...he said he changed his life. I saw the Dr. for no more than five minutes, then saw a PA (which I have no problem with, but I came to see a specific doctor and they knew that). I have never seen the doctor since. Their office staff is HORRENDOUS, like the worst I have ever dealt with. It is impossible to get someone on the phone and if you leave a voicemail, except two weeks before you get a call back. My favorite part is waiting AFTER your appointment in the crowded waiting area so you can check out. Normally you wait before your appointment, but here you wait before AND after. The front office staff are very unconcerned with issues related to chronic illness and have horrible customer service skills. The medical assistants have been worse. They do not return calls or follow through with requests for prescriptions. The last time I was in for an appointment, the MA asked me if I still "took OneTouch test strips by mouth six times per day". If you have diabetes, you understand how comical and ridiculous this is. Her fingernails were so long she could not take my blood pressure. Extremely unprofessional. The worst part about all of this is the lack of response I've received from the doctor/PAs. First, I needed a refill on my insulin (I have type 1 diabetes and use an insulin pump). I called and left a message. I got a return call several days later saying I needed to come in for an appointment first. It had only been 3-4 months, not the required year for a prescription refill. I tried calling to make an appointment and several days in a row I waited on hold in excess of 45 minutes, for no one to pick up. I left messages, but ended up having to get an emergency vial of insulin from the pharmacy at full cost because the doctor wouldn't refill my prescription. Next, I woke up one day to my insulin pump not working. This is not terribly uncommon, so I followed the steps to get a replacement sent to me and called my doctor for a prescription for long acting insulin. The MA told me it would take up to 48 hours to get the prescription filled. It takes 24 to get a replacement pump. By the way, I had NO insulin because my pump was not working! I tried to explain to the MA that I needed it right away and she said "I'm sorry, we're too busy". Too busy to treat a patient with a chronic illness? Unfortunately, diabetes is around outside of when I'm paying $120 for a 10-minute office visit. Several more instances like this have occurred. I called the office manager and she was so defensive. It was very disheartening. She never apologized, never offered to help. Only told me how I was wrong. Absolutely horrible experience with this office I'm the short time I've been a patient! Don't waste your time or risk your health!!
