Two friends and I first visited after I found the sauna on the Internet.
Having no idea what to expect- we met there- took off our shoes upon entering - placed them in a small locker and gave the key to reception.
We split up to go to the changerooms to shower, change etc.
Right off the changeroom is a wet area- with a row of showers, steam room (very hot), cold plunge pool, hot pool and an area to dry off-
after cleaning up, we got changed into shorts and t-shirts they provide- and went to explore.
There is a large open lounge area- a small snack bar and seating area for eating and games- a couple of pool tables, some TVs and lots of couches on which to rest, cool off and relax.
Through double doors are the saunas- 7 to be exact- all at various temperatures- with a big central room set at about 100 degrees. People hang out in that area and then bounce between the various saunas and the all-important ice room (where one wall is about 7-8 cm of solid ice.
The saunas have different minerals and semi-precious stones lining the walls- all with various health-improving properties.
The whole place is very relaxing-
and for $25 it's a well-priced place to chill out.
