Maybe more like 3.5 stars. When I first entered the restaurant, I thought that I was in the wrong place. I saw a woman sitting at a computer and desk and talking on the phone, almost like an office. I did not find the entrance to be welcoming, and I suggest that the restaurant redesign that area. The woman got off the phone and took my husband and me upstairs so that we could be seated. We were put at a table right near the window so we had a good view of the city skyline. The waiter came by and gave us menus. The à la carte menu has the same items as the chef's tasting menu, and it added up to about the same price--$75 per person--for all items that I wanted (yes, I checked!). OK foods: gnocchi and the salad with garbanzo beans and ricotta cheese. Good foods: scallops, salmon, New York strip steak, and apple frangipane. Great foods: swordfish, venison, and lemon dessert. The waiter was nice and brought out our courses when we were ready.
