  • I submitted a request for an estimate on Yelp, and an appointment was set to have an electrician come to my house and inspect and provide a quote. I needed one or two outlets repaired. I received a notification that the technician was coming, but they had the wrong address. A phone call fixed the issue. Then Robert Facio arrives. His communication skills were poor -- I was not able to really tell at any point what he was seeing or recommending. One of the outlets was actually working, but he recommended replacing the fixture. Which I was absolutely happy to consider, but he couldn't tell me how much it cost. The other fixture probably needed a bit more work, but he flat out said "i have no idea what I'd have to do to fix it." He was telling me to call the pool company, because there is a pool light wired to that same area. He kept mumbling about different color wires, but i could not tell if he was asking me something or telling me something. He was at my home for almost 2 hours, but couldn't manage to provide a quote. He had an iPad, which ran out of battery charge, when i offered to get him a charger to plug it is he had no idea what kind of tablet it was. I asked if was an iPad, he said "no", i asked if was a USB-C charger, he said "yes".... he really just had no idea... but couldn't just say that. It's now 2 full days since his visit and I don't have a quote. It was abundantly clear that he didn't want to be there, didn't care about my business, and quite possibly had literally no idea what he was doing. Which was odd, since the company communicated that he had decades of experience. There's no way I am going to give Mr. Electric my business after that initial experience. I am extremely frustrated that their technician wasted so much of my time. Maybe they have other technicians or electricians that have meaningful communication skills and a desire to make the customer (or potential customer) feel confident in their qualifications, but Robert Facio was anything but that.
