Another overhyped place but does the job if you're into matcha. Was pretty poppin' on a Friday night but not too overwhelming where there's absolutely no seats available--but would feel a bit awkward if you chose to sit across from random patrons at the long main table. Prices were a bit on the pricey end and it's a 50 cent difference between the "medium" and the "large" where the size difference is so insignificant that it looks like you left the cup overnight, fed it some milk and it grew a centimeter or two. Ordered the matcha lemon float w/ mixed ice cream but I don't think that's what I received as there was no lemon slice on it like in the picture nor did it taste anything remotely related to lemon. I realized too late to ask about it, but it's okay, this gives me a chance to try the main most basic one to see how it is first. The ice cream itself was good, it has the grainy taste/texture of pure matcha and I also liked the vanilla part too. The "float" itself was underwhelming, as it was full of huge chunks of ice. 80% of the cup was probably full of ice to keep the ice cream afloat which leaves to a very minimal amount of actual drink to drink. Overall, I think that it would be more worth it to just order pure ice cream or drink. Unless you're the type to want the "best of both worlds," except the second half of the world is just not as exciting.
