  • NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE DC LOCATION....NOT THE SCOTTSDALE RD. LOCATION.....THE MANAGER FOR THIS LOCATION WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO CALL ME & WAS VERY CONCERNED, WHICH WAS NICE. Terrible Happy Hour yesterday at Flemings. We should have known it wouldn't be good when my husband ordered a Manhattan "up" and it was served in a champagne glass! Did the bartender take Bartending 101? The waiter asks "what kind of garnish would you like in your Manhattans.....an orange peel?" Ok, whatever. Look at the picture of the calamari appetizer...we've had it before...really good sauce on it. Ours was totally dry with NO SAUCE whatsoever....a few pepper slices thrown on it. Then we got the burger and fries (Happy Hour), which also in the past has been very good. Not this time! The kicker was that they ripped us off with our gift card. I gave them a $50 gift card that has never been used....THEY INFORMED US THAT IT ONLY HAD $30 ON IT!!! Really???!!! Course, how can we prove it?! Never going back! Glad my gift cards are finished!! No more!! No wonder the Happy Hour wasn't totally crowded like in the past!!!
