Ohio is lucky to have several great zoos and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is definitely one of them. I personally like the African Elephant section. Especially Willy, their largest Bull, he's huge. Checkout the posted times for the African Elephant Crossing event. It lets you see the elephant's up close as they transfer from one side of their exhibit to the other. I also enjoy the rainforest attraction. It has over 600 animals from the jungles of the world. Including the capybara, the world's largest rodent, and ocelots (look at their little spots)! I would say the main attraction in the rainforest are the Orangutans. It's fun to just sit and watch them play and swing. There is more to do than just look at the animals though. Check out there schedule of event's for more fun things like summer camps, "keeper for a day", and even overnight events. The Cleveland Zoo also offers many education programs worth checking out. Consider becoming a member of the zoological society as well for other perks and discounts.
