Stayed in the city for a friend's bachelorette party... we thought the night would be great and we'd be staying in a very classy establishment. We couldn't have been more wrong.
Upon arrival into our room there was a strong odor of marijuana wafting through the air. We let that go and didn't say anything. We did our "party" in Lawrenceville and arrived back at the hotel around 8pm and began playing board games (really a wild night). At 9:45 pm we heard a knock on the door and the front desk girl, named Hannah, rudely began with "um hi you're way too loud and only four people are allowed in this room, so 4 of you need to leave IMMEDIATELY! this is your ONLY warning." It was very threatening. The loudness factor was understandable however, but a simple "could you keep it down?" Would have sufficed.
We immediately quieted down and, but frustrated with our treatment to that point, we decided to swallow the overly-priced stay of $254 for the night and attempt to find somewhere to go. Upon checkout we we were asked "if anything was wrong with the room?" We told Hannah that we didn't appreciate how we were treated, she then turned out attention the the "4 people in a room policy," we then turned her attention to the "no smoking policy." She had no comments on our neighbors who were very clearly smoking marijuana and stinking up their "wonderful establish."
I was very disappointed in the way we were treated-- I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There were no professional adults working at this establishment, only young "hipsters" who apparently only choose to uphold some of the rules outlined in the reservation.
