  • East Coast seems to have a very loyal following. The custard is very good, although they have limited flavors. Usually 3 a day. I had strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla to choose from. If you are someone who likes straight up ice cream/custard it is disappointing due to flavor limitations alone. Most patrons seem to get the mix ins to make a "concrete" ( or blizzard in dairy queen terms.) The strawberry had excellent flavor and was thick and creamy. There is NO comparison to places like Dairy Queen, I mean really, you can't compare a chain to home made. But compared to Handel's, Handel's wins in my book.
