  • My husband and I just signed our 3rd year lease this month and wanted to share with you why we choose to remain here at Optima Sonoran Village. First is the location. Outside of driving to work we never get into our cars. We can walk to shops, restaurants, movies, art installations, museums, we see authors at the local book store Poisoned Pen, we attend plays at Desert Stages, and we love riding our bikes on the bike path to Tempe or North Scottsdale and back. Second, the beautiful surroundings. We live on the first floor and our private patio is an absolute oasis of lush greenery and flowering plants. From our floor to ceiling patio doors we can see humming birds and rabbits playing right outside. Third are the amenities. The gym is amazing and never crowded, the pools and outdoor kitchen areas are gorgeous, and I love the sauna and steam rooms. They keep this place immaculate from the grounds, the grills, the locker rooms, the doggie park, to the complimentary Starbucks coffee bar. They are constantly washing windows, vacuuming, touching up paint in the halls and in the trash chute area. And the night time security is top notch. We looked around this year to see if any of the new complexes popping up around us would be worth moving for and nothing compared to all the above mentioned. Get this, one day after work my arms were loaded with groceries, as I headed down the hallway to our apartment one of the housekeepers saw me and stopped what she was doing and helped me in with my many sacks. Can you tell why we love it here? You will love it as well.
