My wife and I went there yesterday (A Monday) and sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. We decided to go at an earlier time than usual and we got there about 20 mins after opening.
Mr Gaetano greeted us as we entered and asked if we would like a table or sit at the bar, we sat at the bar and was greeted by Alex (a new barman) who was very friendly and knowledgeable of the drinks and menu.
We had a scampi appetizer which was cooked perfectly in a lemon and pepper sauce, it was fantastic, at no point did we feel rushed to order something else we just sat and chatted at the bar while Alex stopped by only to refill our glasses.
Our main course arrived, my wife had the cheese filled ravioli and the pasta was wafer thin and tasted great. I had the Penne with Bolognese which was fantastic, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the Bolognase gravy was to die for.
All in all a great experience, we had been before but kinda forgot about it, now we have been again it will be one of our regular spots to have a nice early dinner.
