| - I saw Dr. Xie (ah, yes...the pronunciation...I was told it was pronounced CHEE-ah,like the Chia-pet, and since my appt., I have had the commercial jingle for the Chia-pet running through my mind: Ch-ch-ch-chia!) today, lol) and was really impressed.
Just as reviewer Sheila G. posted, there was very little wait time. The staff were also all incredibly nice and got everything done FAST.
What I liked about Dr. Xie was the level of involvement he included me in his care. He asked me what I was looking to get out of my appt with him, had a beautiful bedside manner , and was very good with eye contact.
He specifically asked me if I was willing to go back on a seizure med. Yep.... rather than what happens so frequently w/ other Drs., who just do a wham bam, thank you ma'am, and toss RX's your way. This is greatly appreciated. GREATLY!!!!
While I did have my S/O in the appt. (he is better able to describe my seizures, as I do not recall what happens w/ them) and my S/O is a Dr., also, Dr. Xie was just really great at making me feel like he was truly interested in reassuring me and getting to the bottom of what is causing my seizures to come back.
To sum it up.....I really, truly liked this Dr., and for me, that says a LOT!
Thank you Dr. Xie and your lovely staff, who just couldn't be kinder.
Sam A.
P.S....if I could give more than 5 stars today, I would gladly have done so. He is one of a dying breed, unfortunately.
