I was so excited to try this restaurant. It came highly recommended from a friend. I love all the booth seating, colors and patterns & the music gives a fun vibe. The menu is a little intimidating because I wasn't sure what a lot of things were but our server Mario had great knowledge of the menu. He gave amazing recommendations of cocktails and food walking us through the menu.
I ordered the Sangria and it was so refreshing. We started with the goat cheese and raisin walnut bread topped with fig jam. If you like goat cheese be prepared to taste the best you have ever had! One of the most popular dishes the toasted ethereal bread brushed with tomato. Don't even think about it just order it! Next we had the shrimp with sautéed garlic. I'm not a huge shrimp fan but wow. It was delicious. Is it bad that I could have eaten just a bowl of the sautéed garlic?! Lastly the spicy chorizo wrapped in crispy potato with alioli. My boyfriend literally said "OMG babe what are you doing hurry up and eat this!" He was right my taste buds were mind blown.
I was truly blown away by my experience here. Coming recommended from a friend I knew it would be good but he didn't say... basically it will be one of the best Spanish restaurant you have ever been to! Mario was great, the wait staff was super attentive. I can not wait to come back again and try more things on the menu! José Andrés you created a restaurant like no other be proud!
