| - To start, I've lived several years in Seattle and so I'm afraid that Pike Place Market has set an unreasonably high bar on any other "farmers market" within the US. I recognize this, so I dropped any and all expectations when I visited this market on Saturday, and it worked...
Substantial amount of stalls with folks peddling their organic produce, hand-made walking sticks, soaps, essential oils, vegan meatballs, and many other unique gifts/treasures.
Hungry? They do have a few food trucks which is *awesome* and some of the stalls have food also. *** TIP: Don't go fallin in love with the first food stall you see; do a full lap at all stalls/trucks before committing to one place. Plus, a lot of them offer food samples (ear-to-ear grin)... I ordered a red chile pork tamale from The Tamale Store and it was scrumptious!
Plus, it's doggie-friendly, so don't be surprised if you see a fair amount of canines browsing the stalls with their masters, too.
