| - Though it's very posh, Hayden Olivia was underwhelming. I had 2 visits here, and neither time did I feel like my consultant had any enthusiasm for me as a client. I was let loose to pick a few dresses, I tried them on, a card was filled out with my preferred dresses, and that was it. On both occasions, I was sent home and never followed up with again. I really don't expect to be coddled during this process, but it really felt like my consultant could care less if I ever came back. She was just there to facilitate trying on some very expensive gowns for a half hour or so, and then the job was over.
At this price point, you don't expect a bare minimum experience but once I looked past the elegant ambiance, my visits here were confusingly mediocre. I found myself totally baffled about why this place seemed to be a 'must' on the bridal shopping list. I've visited nearly every bridal salon in Charlotte in my hunt for the right gown, so I have some perspective on what's out there.
In short: their selection is modest, their inventory is pricey, the consultant showed no more interest in me than what you'd get at David's Bridal. This place was not a win in my book.
