| - Incompetence or Insurance fraud and extremely extremely unprofessional behavior!!!
So went for a common cold. The visit was fine. Wait not terribly long. Doctors, fine. No complaints! Mind you I have Banner Health insurance, and this is a Banner Urgent Care. So I receive a bill for almost $300 and that insurance rejected. I called insurance and they said that this facility keeps coding the bill incorrectly and they need to code it correctly and resubmit, then i should not have to pay any additional $$. I call the urgent care facility and tell them. They say they will.
Since then I have received 2 more notifications including a "Final Notice" that it will be sent to collections. I have perfect credit!!! This is unacceptable. Multiple phone calls with no reply. Called Banner insurance again, they said the same thing its coded wrong and its out of their hands.
I can't get the urgent care center to return any calls or emails, so i drove their and spoke with someone in person. They claimed the exact same thing happened to them and how frustrating it was. They understood and here is the email address directly to the CFO of the urgent care center. Also since it happened to me, here is my "personal cell phone" if you dont get this resolved soon.
Well.... .sent an email, it immediately got rejected as "invalid". I then text the employee's "personal cell phone" and got a reply this was the wrong number. Nobody with that name and nobody that works at Banner Urgent care at this number. Basically lied to my face and gave me 2 false contacts.
All the meanwhile, if i don't fork up $300 immediately, my credit will be damaged.
According to Banner insurance this facility is notorious for coding wrong. Heck their own employee said it happened to her. There is no way to contact and get a reply from anyone in billing department from this facility. When you go there in person, they lie to your face.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!!! I dont typically leave bad reviews but this is infuriating!! Also just look, mine is not the only such review. Their billing department is either incompetent or engaging in fraud. Either way they have no interest in resolving legitimate claims.
