Brought my friend in today for her pacemaker, and unfortunately someone dropped the ball and she was not scheduled. The courtesy clerk John was not very helpful he just informed us that she wasn't on the schedule. So my friend called her cardiologist and figured everything out and papers would get faxed to start the process. 45 minutes later she went and asked for an update and he seemed aware of her being added on to the schedule and informing her that it's a little bit more involved than just adding her to the schedule. I can see if he was busy and forgot to check in and give her an update but he seemed to busy socializing for well over an hour. This being a specialty hospital I am not impressed with their customer service and what seems like zero compassion over their patients. We have been here for over an hour and a half and my friend has had to be the one to keep asking questions. Next time she said she's going to St Joes where she originally wanted to go but didn't want to wait. Looks like either way she has to wait now and have an unpleasant experience on top of it.
