Drove past the museum many times during our visits to the strip. Often crowded with school busses and tourists. Never thought much about it.
Decided to visit on a Saturday morning. No crowds. Very quiet. You can go at your own pace.
In three+ hours we covered most everything, learned a great deal about Pittsburgh history, and felt the winning excitement evidenced in the sports museum.
Incredible experience. Well worth the admission cost. Not cold and stuffy like a lot of museums and galleries. Probably more suited for adults than younger children.
(and if you go early in the morning, you can have Saturday brunch at Lidia's just down the street after you are done. not free, but a great value without the Sunday crowds.)
