| - Cassandra,
There were so many factors that justified my claim of poor service, I didn't even include them all in my original post. I will say, however, you are not one of them. I should have included that you were the only element of my experience that was pleasant. That being said, clearly there is some miscommunication in your business that needs to be rectified.
When I called, I did not request that you find the part for me as I was more than willing to purchase it and bring it in. A member of your staff said you could get a better deal. And I at no time said anything about a wrecking yard. I never said my sole concern was the glass, but rather, the part as a whole. I specified that my car was light silver and not charcoal. These are two distinct colors that I would expect any auto shop to be familiar with. Furthermore, I provided my Vin # which would clarify any ambiguity on the matter. Listing only the assumed dealer's price is evasive, as I know of an excellent Goodyear Auto Center on Ray Rd that purchases used parts for their customers all of the time for a far better rate than you offered and with superior customer service, but they were simply booked and I thought I would give my business to a small business owner. When I searched for a well-rated mechanics, I found your shop, but after taking a closer look, the reviews appear suspicious. At no point did anyone explain to me that the part had been glued and the tape was temporary. I did in fact express my dissatisfaction over the phone and at no time were any of my concerns acknowledge in anyway. The only reason I did not except the full refund was that my time had already been so flagrantly wasted. I assure you that I will never stray from my qualified mechanic again.
Finally, while I agree that historic downtown Chandler is lovely, your shop is most certainly not in it, and at best, is adjacent to it.
