| - I stayed here with my parents because my mother was in town for a conference for work, and I was able to tag along. I cannot speak to the price of the room because I stayed fo free (thanks momma and her work) but I've seen you can get a deal on this place online.
We had adjoining rooms, each of them had a living room, kitchenette, master bedroom and a rather large bathroom. Our stay was for 3 days, and we had no issues with the housekeeping. The hotel is located towards the north of town. It's actually next to a large, empty lot. Which can be a plus since there's not any noise coming that way, or a minus because it's not that pretty to look at. Each of our rooms had balconies that over looked this large, gravel lot.
The parking spots are a little ways away from the units, which is kind of nice because you're able to walk through the paths between the buildings. The landscaping is nice and looks very Arizona. Some of the pathways even intertwine with small creeks.
A lot of people complain about the place not having a restaurant. I get it. But if you're in a city, go out and explore it. I understand if you're at a place like on a beach you just want to lounge and veg there, but get out and see the sights. This was my first time Arizona so we left and explored. They do have a lunch snack bar that's open by the pool.
Overall it was a great place to stay. We didn't stay there all day and get cabin fever. The bed was comfortable and the whirlpool bath/shower was nice to unwind after look around the Scottsdale area.
