  • Arizona Humane Society Sunny Slope {smh} Our family adopted a dog, next day I had him in the vets office they diagnosed him with pneumonia hundreds of dollars for ABX. Next day to a different vet, "Jax maybe in heart failure" this news is devastating to our family he is already a part of our family! The Dr recommends taking him to a cardiologist for a sonogram. The awesome Texas Dr states his not in heart failure however he does have a congenital heart problem. Making plans for surgery and he won't quit coughing by this time we are in California for the week call Dr in AZ recommends we take him to Dr in California, he has kennel cough he left Sunny Slope with it. Finish more antibiotics come back to AZ for heart surgery now we are 5k$ into our adoption to the beautiful new addition to our family. I'm happy to say Jax is recovering and doing better than ever. My question to the Humane Society the sheet I read about Jax before adopting him was it even about my dog you said he was healthy? Maybe your healthy means something different to you than me!!
