  • Found this place on yelp and decided to check it out as a 'spa day' for me and my bf. I made two 2pm appointments for us and when we got there, 2 women had walked in as we walked in and they were taken first. My bf was told that he had to wait 20 mins although we had an appointment. They'd given his spot to one of the women who walked in. Completely unprofessional as I'd made an appointment and asked why they were taken ahead of us when we had an appointment and they were a walk-in. Next, I chose this place because their yelp account said they have wine. When I asked about it, the nail tech acted like she couldn't understand what I was saying. She handed me a book with a list of pedicures and complimentary drinks (wine, tea, coffee, etc) and then I pointed to the wine and again she acted confused. If you don't serve wine anymore, just say that. Don't act confused or like you don't understand what I'm saying. Lastly, I went to pay and the woman told me it was $73. I asked why the price increased from $66 as she quoted me on the phone. She said it was because I got a deluxe pedicure and I said, I told her I wanted a regular pedicure. Apparently, the regular pedicure in the book (that the woman handed me with no instruction other than 'pick one') were upgraded pedicures. If she had asked "do you want a regular pedicure or an upgraded one from this book?" I would have made my choice. Simply handing someone a book with a list of pedicure types doesn't clearly illustrate that they are upgrades/specials. It implies that those are my only options. I picked the first option, thinking it was the standard pedicure. It also took a very long time (I got a gel manicure & regular pedicure). I won't be going back although she did a good job on my nails.
