Get it in writing. Rented a car in February 2015. Arrived and was greeted promptly. The agent said good news we are upgrading you to an SUVs for no charge. Should have got that in writing and they also suggested we pay for the gas now so I did. We returned the car at the end of the week no problems. I get the bill and it's for almost $100 more than what I was told it would be. I asked if I would get any money back on the gas and he said no.
When we got back home I checked out the bill and was changed for the upgrade. I contacted the company and they said that I was billed correctly. I understand I don't get the money back on the gas so I will never pay I advance for that but when you lie to me I will never do business with you again. I get an email today from a rep stating that they are sorry for the inconvenience but she is not authorized to give me a refund.
