Since I was on the quest to find the best croissant in Toronto, I have to search high and low for these buttery goodness.
So I tried Brick Street's Chocolate Croissant today and from the outside it's aesthetically pleasing, looks crunchy and fresh plus you can see chocolates coming out from it.
As I bit into a piece of the croissant, I felt like I was biting into the 'abyss of nothingness'. It's so hollow I wouldn't even call it airy and it doesn't really hold well together. By the time I'm done, I wasn't even satisfied as it all went to crumbs.
I can also feel oil gushing out with every bite and for the price of 2.50 + tax this croissant is small compared to others with the same price range.
One thing is for sure, I won't be back to try any of their pastries.
