I would prefer to leave 0 stars. I have had the worst customer service experience. We ordered some planters online that shipped from the warehouse to this Ace for pickup. The description for the planters online clearly stated they were ceramic. When we arrived to pick them up, they were plastic and we refused the order. Our card had already been charged. The person working made fun of my husband, saying he should have known before he ordered (which is incorrect, it was a mistake on ace.com). He also told him that he could not issue a refund (wtf? It isn't even a refund, we refuse the incorrect merchandise) and stated he could only issue store credit. He then proceeded to tell my husband he must come back in the morning to speak to a manager.
When my husband arrived before work the manager went and found the same customer service person and they proceeded to tell my husband false information- that he would have to call ace directly. If that were true, why did they make him come back at 8 in the morning before a long shift at work?
Ace online informed me that the worker and manager both should have known they only need to ship the merchandise back to the warehouse. Once it is received the original form of payment will be credited. They should know this. The saga continues. Now we have to recontact the store to explain to them how they can properly operate in their own positions.
This is unlike anything I have come across.
