| - after reading all these reviews claiming that ice tango was sooo great it was almost better than the OG pinkberry.... the bf and i decided to give it a try after dining in the area one evening. and it was a crazy hot night - perfect for trying some yogurt.
and let's just say... we were sorely disappointed. was it tart? yes. but the consistency is SO icy, it really isn't much like yogurt. they DO have mochi, my fave topping, so that might have saved it for them. and they are pretty generous with the topping portions....except after hearing some ppl rant and rave about "the hole" that can form in the center of the yogurt - well i've NEVER had that problem at any yogurt place before... until ice tango. and the price is kinda deceptive - for a plain yogurt (and WHO DOES THAT???) the price looks cheap, but if you want ANY toppings, it costs $.75 for the 1st, $.50 for the 2nd, and then $.25 for the 3rd. now, i KNOW it does NOT cost that much to actually purchase and prepare those toppings.
sure, it's a tad bit cheaper, but i'm going to save myself the gas money and stick with what's close to my house (wildberri), and the much much cheaper socal yogurtworlds/lands. or even better yet, i'll just make my own (it's actually really easy).
