WOW! That isn't all I can say about this excellent property in Pittsburgh's southside. I travel frequently and have experienced both bad and good hotels and I would place Hyatt House in the GREAT category.
The property itself was clean and friendly and easy to navigate! From the time you pull up out front and meet the parking valet to your check in to the General Manager, Burke, you are made to feel right at home. Parking is $14.00 a night, but it is convenient and you can readily get your vehicle when you need it.
The rooms themselves were very clean and inviting. I found the bed to be comfortable too. The staff kept the room clean and as a long stay hotel you will find everything you need in the kitchenette. I had to do some work as well and the work area was comfortable and easy to set up and use.
Grab breakfast while you are there and definitely get a made to order omelet! Coffee is there for use throughout the day (which is a big plus for me!).
The setting is fantastic and filled with plenty to do in the are.l would recommend taking a walking tour of the area and using Yelp to find some great things to do.
The manager, Burke, was exceedingly helpful too. My team was in town for a meeting and on our final day we were planning to use the lobby to hold an informal meeting together and Burke provided us with a small room to meet in gratis! Thank you Burke, you were extremely helpful and the entire experience was fantastic.
