| - OK, why would anyone want to write a review on a huge wireless retail network? Well, it's actually not about the wireless giant, it's about one little store in Chinook Mall.
Yelpers know by now that for me number one reason to review a business is the quality of their customer service. Yep, smile at me nicely and I will buy more than I need. Sort of... My ex was right - I should leave my wallet at home every time I go to the mall. But that's the only thing he was right about.
Oops, off topic.
Anyways, I was blown by service I received at that location. My last visit to Rogers retail outlet ended in the most unpleasant way. So did the previous one. And the one before. People are overworked and tired there, I understand.
Time was 8;30 at night. Given the busiest retail season of the year, this young girl at the counter should have been tired and grouchy by than (from earlier experiences). So, I kind of prepared myself for another cold wireless battle. Was I ever surprised to find the completely opposite!
In fact, I was so challenged by extreme politeness, helpfulness, patience and so on, that I actually asked the same question three times (no wonder some would say that I would get a cold shoulder before, lol). No, I just could not believe that on top of very efficiently explaining the new service I was ordering, she also made it all very fast by calling to activate herself and she also got me first 2 months free deal.
WOW. The phone is under my business name, therefore, I will post this in the new list I created for small business owners. Those people know that every bit helps. So, I strongly recommend if you ever need anything to be done in-store, go there. I mean, not just this girl, but the rest were just as great.
Way to go, store manager!
