My experience was not awesome. It's started out okay, there were really nice sales people willing to help. The sales person that ended up helping me "sold" me a couch that didn't even exist and I didn't find this out until I waited weeks for delivery and they brought the wrong thing. In anticipation for my furniture delivery, I got rid of my old couches, so I had zero furniture. The customer service rep was amazing, but this whole thing resulted in me wasting another day at the warehouse selecting new furniture with my 2 small children in tow. Not only that but because they couldn't ship it to me until a later date, I had to scramble to find someone with a truck to help me, then the 2 of us girls had to haul the couches in the house.
The most frustrating part is that AFW still made a sale without really having to fix their mistake, and when the sales person called to see why my couches weren't delivered, she had nothing to say about this debacle. No apology, or attempt to make it better. I was put in a difficult position where I had no choice but to reselect furniture from here in a rush.
I feel like this could have been handled a lot better and even just acknowledging what a horrendous inconvenience this was for me would have gone far.
I'm not likely to be a repeat customer and I can't honestly tell others that this was a good experience.
