  • While Churned is creative and I'm a big Cookie and a Cupcake fan, they have just missed the mark with the ice cream thus far. I can't help but feel they are trying hard NOT to be Jeni's. Flavors are overpowering rather than harmonious, and there are quite a few texture issues with different flavors. The pistachio is a bit grainy, others are slightly icy. I suppose I'm just more of a Scoops girl.
