Showed up at 8:58 thinking this was a 24 hour urgent care, well I was wrong. I saw the girl behind the desk on her cell phone jump up quickly to turn off the open signs as I was getting my daughter out of the car.
When a young child is having difficulty breathing you don't turn them away.
My job is much less important than URGENT care and I still take care of anyone that comes in right before closing because that's what good customer service is all about.
I have been to this urgent care a few years ago as well and it was another bad experience. I only came to this one because my child wasn't breathing well and it was the closest location to my house.
If the staff truly cared they would have at least checked her oxygen levels before locking the doors on us.
We'll never go again. St. Luke's got us in the second we walked through the door and had her on a monitor within a minute.
