Me and a couple of friends came here during Restaurant Week. It was disappointing to learn that this establishment was not participating in it. In any case, we stayed and ordered our meals. I ordered the half sandwich/soup lunch. The daily special (Chix noodle) was good and not too salty. For my sandwich, I ordered the Carnitas. This was like a pulled pork with crispy-fried onions on top of it. The bread was a little difficult to pick up due to the good-sized amount of pork on top of it. It was pretty good; not the best I've had but okay. According to my friend, the Beer and Wisconsin Cheese soup was fantastic.
We ordered a side of French Fries to share. The portion size was large; it fed three people. The service was accommodating and the atmosphere was sterile. It is always nice to catch up on your politics (on the big screens) while waiting for your soup to arrive.
