I can't pin my finger on it, but something about Poros reminds me of a resort restaurant. Perhaps it's the smell of seafood, modern decor and electric blue lighting, mixed with the light tropical instrumental music. It is especially the case in the summertime when they open up their patio. I've been here several times, once for drinks and once for lunch and I can't say I was entirely impressed with either experience. For lunch, I ordered the tempura fish "sandwich" and it left a lot to be desired; there wasn't much flavor. The fish itself was decent but I think the accompaniments could have used more flavor. Unfortunately, Poros won't really one of my go-to's.
