There are many Italian restaurants in the valley but few that have a born-and-raised there owner. It was nice reminiscing in a language I grew up with and despite the uncertain as to "what to do" wait staff (I'm sure he'll grow into it within weeks. Seems like a sharp kid.) and the lack of two of my favorite noodles (penne and vermicelli ) , Pasta Mia, small and quaint, is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I saw the antipasto plate on the next table over and almost shouted "Bravissimo!". I am told their meatballs are truly scrumptious as well. I will definitely be going back la prossimo volta. Bon Appetito! I had the carbonara and it was terrific. Huge portion and took half home with me. Just as good a day later. I'm hoping to give them 5 stars because I am really in their corner and wish them the greatest success.
