This place is super duper crowded, noisy to the level of raucousness, and a fantastic coffee place. It is just on the border entrance to Kensington Market, off of Spadina.
We were pretty much the oldest people in here, Lee being the same age of the parents of most of the students hanging out in there. We did not feel unwelcome in any way, though. It was cozy in a deafening sort of way, with a lot of interesting conversations to eavesdrop on.
My only quibble was that we ordered a couple of Americanos, and although the coffee was fantastic, rich and flavorful, I only ended up with half a mug ... which even given the good prices, seemed a little skimpy.
