Asian mix facial issues... The struggle is real!
I'm not the biggest fan of finding new glasses as I have features that do not work well with the majority of eyewear styles- wide head, small nose bridge and big eyes that sit above that said small nose bridge. I am pretty limited.
After my eye exam, I took the four styles I chose to the representative to see if any could work. None of them did, of course... No surprise. The representative found two styles (that I actually did look at) that would work for me. I needed something that was spring loaded because anything else would break (wide head issue). Also, a wire type frame because I needed silicone pads so the glasses could actually stand on my nose (small bridge). Then my eye shape, they are large so needed something to cover them while using the silicone pads to stand on my nose. It was like watching kids building a house out of three tennis balls.
Well, I tried on the two pair she recommended- a navy Tori Burch and a grey Prada. We both agreed the navy worked best for my face although the Prada was more costly. I was so appreciative!
It really was a great experience... Friendly, helpful, great selection (for those who are blessed w cute eyewear features) and decent prices. So when my glasses break and have to go through the eyewear chore, it will be Lens crafters on Eastern for me :)
